Immersive Learning Activities
Our immersive activities take Spanish beyond the classroom and into the everyday life of Seville. Participants use the language in authentic settings while discovering the city, its culture, its food and its people.
The same immersive experiences are included in both editions, but the language tasks, interaction and level of challenge are adapted to the participants’ CEFR level. A1/A2 participants focus on communicating effectively in familiar situations, asking and answering questions and gaining confidence, while A2/B1 participants are encouraged to interact more spontaneously, express opinions, exchange information and engage in more extended conversations.
These activities are not simply cultural visits. They are an integral part of the learning programme, connecting the communication scenarios explored in class with real-life situations in the city.
Seville becomes part of the classroom: a place to listen, speak, interact, discover and put Spanish into practice.
The Market: Flavours, Words and Everyday Life
1,5 hours

To really get to know a city, you need to know its markets.
We will visit a traditional Seville market to discover the city through its produce, flavours and, above all, the people who bring it to life every day. Fish and seafood, fruit and vegetables, meat, cheese, olives, spices... each stall offers a chance to explore local food and the traditions and customs behind it.
What kinds of fish do people eat in Seville? Which products are in season? How do you ask for the quantity you want? What could you cook with the ingredients around you? Which traditional dishes begin right here, at the market? And how do people actually shop in a Spanish market?
The market becomes a living classroom, where participants listen to real Spanish, ask questions, talk to stallholders, discover everyday expressions and practise communicating in an authentic setting.
Through small tasks and challenges adapted to their language level, participants connect language, food and culture, discovering habits and traditions that are difficult to experience inside a classroom.
An opportunity to look, listen, ask, taste, talk and discover Seville from the inside, because behind every market stall there is much more than food: there are stories, traditions and a way of life.
Tapas Tour & Social Interaction
2,5 hours

Learning Spanish in Seville also means going out and living it.
On this guided journey through Seville’s tapas culture, participants discover one of the most authentic ways of enjoying and sharing the city’s social life. We will visit local bars, discover some typical tapas and learn how people order, share food and interact around a table in Seville.
But this is much more than a food experience. The aim is to turn the city into our classroom: ordering and asking questions in Spanish, discovering everyday expressions, talking about tastes and preferences, asking for recommendations and interacting naturally in real-life situations.
Through tapas, conversation and local culture, participants gain confidence using Spanish outside the classroom while discovering the small customs and social codes that are part of everyday life in Seville.
An experience to practise Spanish, discover new flavours, explore local culture and feel a little more part of the city.
Food and drinks consumed during the activity are not included in the course fee.
Seville: 3,000 Years of Stories, Culture and Conversation
3 hours
_jpg.jpeg)
A city with 3,000 years of history cannot be discovered simply by visiting its monuments. You have to learn how to read it.
On this guided walk, Seville becomes our classroom and its streets become the pages of a book that we explore in Spanish. We travel from the city’s legendary beginnings — when Hercules was said to have founded Seville and Julius Caesar surrounded it with walls — to the modern city.
Methodology
The programme follows a communicative, practical and action-oriented approach, designed to help participants activate and consolidate their existing Spanish and use it with greater confidence in real-life situations.
Learning is organised around Communication Scenarios based on situations participants are likely to encounter during their stay in Seville. Each scenario combines practical communication with the grammar, vocabulary, useful expressions and communication strategies needed to interact effectively in that particular context. Language is therefore introduced and practised as a tool for communication rather than as a sequence of isolated linguistic content.
Participants learn through guided interaction, role plays, simulations, problem-solving, listening and practical tasks, with particular emphasis on oral communication and active participation.
Classroom learning and Immersive Learning Activities are closely connected. Communication Scenarios prepare participants to use Spanish in authentic situations, while experiences in the city provide opportunities to put their language into practice, interact with their surroundings and bring new language and experiences back into the learning process.
Spanish is the principal working language throughout the programme, with linguistic input, tasks and interaction adapted to each CEFR level. The same real-life situations may therefore be explored at different levels of complexity, autonomy and communicative challenge.
Small groups of 3 to 8 participants ensure frequent opportunities for interaction, personalised feedback and active participation throughout the programme.
